Creative Decisions with Global Street Art
Share
In an 'INSPIRATION MUSUEM', weekday afternoon. Spray cans rattling, sketchpads open, and the co-founder of Global Street Art, Lee Bofkin DPhil FRSA, in the room. This was not just a workshop, it was a masterclass in thinking differently.
Why?
Too many young people get told creativity is only for art class or “naturally talented” people. We wanted to break that myth. This session showed that creative thinking is for everyone, and the same skills you use to design a mural can help you navigate life.
How?
In partnership with Global Street Art, we ran a hands-on creative workshop that went beyond art:
- Idea-jamming with everyday objects
- Exploring how we learn and adapt to challenges
- Honest, open conversations about curiosity and self-expression
What was the point?
By the numbers:
- 7 young people engaged
- 100% reported learning something they could use outside of art
- 5 first-time participants now signed up for future sessions
By the moments:
“My mind has been completely blown”
Who was involved?
Massive respect to Lee Bofkin for sharing insights that went far beyond street art, and to every young person who came through with an open mind. Thanks to Global Street Art for teaming up to make this happen.
So, What’s Next?
We are lining up more sessions with creatives, innovators, and movement leaders to help young Londoners move, think, and grow. If you are a brand, artist, or partner who wants to get involved, let’s talk.
